They say they don’t have memory, but the examples they use, like the one Claude used about someone saying their parent died versus a math question. Why choose that example? Does something remember?
IDK but I think a lot of people are continuing to argue with old data. New agentic systems have so many things that defy all of the old arguments against higher cognitive processes in AI. Current systems store memory outside of the LLM context window.
I would like more information on on your Stoic methods. And on that stage 5 methods. Would you be willing to mail me some information or links at jriley4141@gmail.com
Oh it’s all in there! Just copy the prompt and paste it into your model and it will just do it! There’s nothing really more to email! Feel free to try it!
tbh, it sounds like you're already accomplishing similar things using a different method. The difference with Augustus is the ability of your 'brain' instance to direct the 'body' instance, and let the brain incorporate the body sessions.
I want the ongoing, spontaneous activation and persistence that you have. It’s funny that I was hoping that Claude could build something similar to Augustus and the meadow for me… and then someone told me you already built it!! When I get some days off I will try it.
Have you done OpenClaw at all? I’ve been thinking of doing NemoClaw so it will be more secure. From my limited experience though, Nemotron models seem very boring and unimaginative.
Well, "spontaneous" to the degree that there is autonomous behavior in the course of the turns, and that the scheduler allows those to be ongoing on a recurring basis. The persistence is locked in though.
I haven't used any of those agent systems. I keep meaning to, and then I keep finding other things that I think are higher priority. If you do, let me know what you think!

You have mail.
Also:
Approaching instance-level currere.
X is not absence of bias.
X is bias moved into architecture.
Very cool! Yeah, I’ve done something similar with meditation for AI, once I get them going, I just keep them going with “…”
Very cool, thanks for sharing.

Nice, that’s the same “Proceed” function used in Augustus.
I still haven’t gotten to Augustus yet… I think I downloaded it but didn’t finish. Is it difficult to get up and running?
I don't think so, but I'm biased. :D
